Today, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) held its first open meeting with the full slate of commissioners. On the agenda were three Notice of Inquiries (NOI) covering issues on innovation and investment in wireless; competition in the wireless industry; and consumer protection and access to information about communications services. All three NOIs were approved by the Commission. Mobile Future Chairman Jonathan Spalter released a statement commending the FCC for taking the opportunity to understand how to "best advance innovation and consumer choice in the wireless sector."
