This website lets you easily transfer files from your computer to your mobile phone. Voicemail to text service works on airplanes

There are a lot of options for voicemail to text conversion services, such as PhoneTag and PhoneWire, each costing $9-$30 a month, but SpinVox has a unique feature that others don’t.  While all of these services convert voicemails to text or email messages, SpinVox’s new feature will provide added benefit busy business travelers.  Federal regulations prohibit making phone calls during a flight, but SpinVox users can continue to get their voicemails as text messages or emails during a flight in a data-only environment and respond via email while still in the air or by text once on the ground.

Use Outlook mobile on ANY cellphone

Emoze is the first free mobile push email service.  Emoze allows you to receive emails and Outlook data anywhere on your mobile phone even if it’s not a Blackberry or PDA.  It is completely secure and allows email access without connecting to a service or clicking send\receive.  You can also manage contact, calendar, and other personal information all for free using your mobile phone.

View non-mobile enabled websites on your phone

WidSets is a free service that allows you to access your favorite web content from your mobile phone for free.  Through the use of mobile widgets and applications you can have access to non-mobile enhanced sites such as Wikipedia, flickr, The Wall St. Journal, Twitter, a push email program and many more.  WidSets also allows you to share mobile content with other users as well as publish your own content to the web.

GrandCentral manages multiple phone numbers

GrandCentral, Google’s latest acquisition, hopes to make managing multiple phone numbers an easier process. The service allows users to send calls from multiple phone numbers to one number, combine voicemail accounts and answer phone calls even as the caller is recording a voice message. Grand Central also allows users to record calls on the fly access the recordings online, receive voicemail notifications via email or SMS and others. One particularly innovative service is the ability to have people leave voicemails via a web service that hides your phone number.

Mobile access to LinkedIn

LinkedIn Mobile allows LinkedIn users to access all of their information using the mobile web.  It allows users to see all of their contacts, send invitations to events, and see what their connections are doing.  The service contains almost all of the features of LinkedIn but, with the benefit of being able to do it all from your mobile phone.

HP’s Mobile Remote Printing Technology

HP’s CloudPrint service allows you to remotely print using your mobile phone.  Email a document to the CloudPrint virtual print server which will store a copy and send an SMS to your phone with a reference ID. Once you get to a computer, enter the code on the CloudPrint web site and the server will find the nearest local printer.  This service allows you to save multiple files on the server, keep the reference IDs on your phone and print from any computer.  Additionally, you can print mobile photos or files from your phone to your home printer.

Manage mobile voicemail online

A new free service - MessageSling - lets you manage your voicemails online in a Gmail-like interface. MessageSling’s voice-to-text software converts your incoming voicemails to text messages and posts them on its web-accessible site.  If you receive so many voicemails that listening through them on your phone is clumsy or unmanageable, this service would save you time, hassle, and allow you to focus on the most pressing messages right away.
